1. Commercial Scope & Business Identity

These Terms of Service govern all transactions, price quotations, material procurements, and distribution agreements with Sagarawat Electricals (Founded in 1980 by Shantilal Sagarawat; Managing Director: Paras Sagarawat).

Our commercial distribution operations cover authorized wholesale supply, retail sales, project consultancy, and institutional fulfillment for architectural lighting fixtures, LED luminaires, heavy-duty industrial switchgears, power distribution boards, low/medium voltage cabling, modular wiring accessories, conduits, and smart home automation equipment.

2. Quotation Validity & Taxation

To account for commodity metal variations (such as market shifts in copper, aluminum, and brass raw materials) and manufacturer price index changes:

• Validity Window: Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a written commercial contract, all formal quotations issued by Sagarawat Electricals are valid for fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of generation.
• Statutory GST: All price schedules and rates quoted are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). All taxable invoices bear our registered GSTIN: 23AHXPS0172M1ZQ to ensure full input tax credit (ITC) pass-through for registered enterprise purchasers.
• Order Acceptance: Quotations do not constitute a binding supply obligation until an official purchase order (PO) or advance payment confirmation is validated by our accounts department.

3. Manufacturer Warranties & Scope

As an authorized distributor and direct stockist for premier national and global brands (including Philips, Orient Electric, AO Smith, Legrand, Finolex, Atomberg, Anchor, L&T, Millborn, BCH Electric, and Amaryllis):

• OEM Coverage: Product warranties are provided directly by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The terms, durations, and criteria are governed exclusively by each manufacturer's warranty policies.
• Distributor Facilitation: Sagarawat Electricals actively facilitates warranty claims, replacements, and testing coordination for goods procured through our authorized distribution channel, provided valid purchase invoices and unaltered serial/batch labels are presented.
• Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage arising from improper electrical wiring, severe voltage surges beyond rated tolerances, water ingress into non-IP-rated fixtures, physical handling abuse, or unauthorized disassembly.

4. Payments, Deliveries & Inspection

All commercial settlements must be conducted through verified official banking channels:

• Accepted Methods: RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, verified UPI transfers, and crossed account-payee cheques favoring Sagarawat Electricals (Axis Bank Ltd, Neemuch Branch). Detailed banking coordinates are available on our bankdetails page.
• Receiving & Inspection: Customers and project contractors must inspect consignments immediately upon delivery. Any physical transit damage, carton seal breakage, or quantity discrepancy must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt to [email protected].

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

• Sagarawat Electricals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of business profits, project delay penalties, electrical outage consequences, or equipment downtime.
• Our total cumulative liability arising from any order, whether in contract, tort, or statutory duty, shall under no circumstances exceed the total net purchase amount actually paid for the specific goods giving rise to the claim.
• Electrical equipment must only be installed and commissioned by certified, qualified electrical contractors complying with the National Electrical Code of India.

6. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and all related agreements, quotations, and supply transactions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
